OurWork

Our work enhances the horticulture industry in Papua New Guinea by empowering smallholder farmers with innovative agricultural practices, market access, and sustainable development support.

FPDA works with value chain participants to improve efficiency of marketing systems for crops of commercial significance and provides support for specific crop industry sectors groups as they develop. Through it's adaptive research program, it helps farmers assess commercial potential for new technologies to boost productivity and profitability. FPDA also partners with rural communities to strengthen farmers' capacity to produce diverse crops in response to market demands and seeks to improve access to quality inputs like planting materials, to drive growth in the horticultural sector.
